Vinu joined Esbrook P.C. in May 2025, having practiced in litigation and investigations with two large international law firms and served as an enforcement trial attorney for the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission.

- Represented real estate developer in multiple state and federal suits against loan servicer and surety provider, asserting claims for fraud and breach of fiduciary duty.
- Defended national retailer in suit by competing retailer alleging unfair and anticompetitive business practices.

- Successfully obtained acquittal of individual co-defendant in federal securities fraud trial.
- Defended real estate developer against securities fraud claims brought by individual investors.
Selected Multidistrict Litigation
- Defended automaker in nationwide products liability litigation, including successful defense in MDL bellwether trial.
Selected Regulatory and Investigations Experience
- Represented U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission in investigating potential violations of the Commodity Exchange Act and regulations, including with regard to digital asset exchanges, event contract markets, and commodity pools.
- Represented healthcare provider in DOJ inquiry concerning potential Medicare fraud and kickback scheme.
- Conducted internal investigation for national financial services company concerning potential AML/BSA violations.
- Advised national bank regarding Paycheck Protection Program rules and implementation.
