Matthew H. Griffin
Matthew helps clients meet their business goals and resolve disputes efficiently. He has experience investigating facts, developing claims and defenses, addressing issues encountered in discovery, and planning for motion and trial themes.
He has represented clients in variety of litigation disputes, including commercial contracts, business torts, and claims under state and federal environmental laws. He has practiced before state, federal, and administrative tribunals and at the trial and appellate levels. He has also counseled clients on regulatory and reputational risks related to the environment.
With a pre-law school career in fundraising and development, Matthew understands how numbers can tell a compelling story and applies that experience to situations clients encounter in litigation.
Matthew volunteers with the Alliance Française of Chicago, helping identify high school seniors who have excelled in their study of French language to receive a scholarship to travel and study in France the summer after they graduate.
