América is an associate with Esbrook P.C. Prior to joining the firm, América served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge R. Steven Whalen for the Eastern District of Michigan. There, América researched and wrote on matters involving multidistrict litigation, defamation, and Social Security.

While in law school, América provided legal assistance to Federal pro se litigants with the Detroit Mercy Federal Pro Se Clinic for the Eastern District of Michigan. Additionally, América served as the Executive Editor of Outside Articles for the Detroit Mercy Law Review.
